How to Use ChatGPT for Your NZ Business
By AIReady.co.nz · 5 min read · Updated March 2026
ChatGPT is free, it works right now, and it can save you hours every week. But a lot of NZ business owners sign up, type something in, get a mediocre result, and give up. The problem isn't ChatGPT — it's how you're asking.
This guide shows you exactly how to use ChatGPT for your NZ business, with real examples you can use today.
Step 1: Sign Up (It's Free)
01
Go to chat.openai.com
Sign up with your email — the free account is enough to get started. You don't need to pay anything to get real value from ChatGPT.
Step 2: Give It Context
The key to getting good results is telling ChatGPT about your business first. The more context you give it, the better the output. A good prompt includes:
What your business is → What you need → Any specific details → Tone or style

Ask it to try again. If you don't like the first version, just say "try again but make it shorter" or "make it more casual." ChatGPT improves with feedback.
Save prompts that work. When you get a great result, save the prompt you used. You can reuse it every time.
